On March 13th, many of us will spring our clocks ahead one hour at the start of daylight savings time.
Though we will still have plenty of cold and wintry weather to come here in Colorado, that extra daylight feels magical. We will start our mountain hikes, plan our summer trips and treks and continue our journey toward goals we set at the beginning of the year – like getting 22 new sponsors for 2022!
Big 3 — as Amy, Dawna and Stephanie affectionately call ourselves – are looking forward to a hike across the continental divide and back with some of our friends/co-sponsors of Kilimanjaro Kidz Education Foundation. We’ll have plenty of time together to brainstorm on how we can keep the momentum going towards helping our families in Africa. I say it every month, but it bears repeating – ALWAYS. We are all so blessed.
As our days get longer and the sunshine illuminates your “highest aspirations”, we’d love to hear how we can help you in your journeys. And if you know of anyone who might want to share in our KKEF journey, please refer them to Amy, Dawna, Stephanie or JR for more information on how they can help with only $50 a month.
Meet the Kidz…
Jambo! My name is Blessing. My school name is Sun Shield Primary School. I live in a village near Arusha, and I am the fourth daughter in my family. It is rare for all of us to get to go to school. I am happy I get to go like my older sisters.
We Need Your Help
Friends, we set an ambitious goal this year to send 22 more students to private school! For just $50 a month, you can help secure their educational future!
If you haven’t yet sponsored and would like to, or you are a sponsor and want to give an extra one-time contribution, please visit the How You Can Help page and donate today! Our students, who range in age from 5 to 18, are so thankful for having their education secured, which includes two meals every school day, and removes a huge burden from their family’s daily concerns.
