I came across this quote a few years ago, and it really stuck with me:
We all face challenges in life. The children of the porters on Kilimanjaro certainly do. And yet, they are full of joy, and hope, and given the opportunity, commitment to excellence in education.
Our Big Season of Commitment
With the recent addition of a couple more sponsors, we have a total of 27 students enrolled or preparing to enroll. The push is on now to secure at least 12 more sponsors in the next two months.
We pay school fees for the January 2022 school year in September. Some schools will no longer have space available by November. If you’re a sponsor paying annually, please do that now. If you’re set up for recurring $50 per month contributions, you’re good! Please find a friend to contribute as well.
We have potential sponsors who can afford the $50 monthly but aren’t able to kickstart the student with the $600 needed. Should you or someone you know be willing to kickstart a student for a one-time donation of $600, click on the “donate” option on the site!
Meet the Kidz…
Eva is a brilliant young lady. She attends Moshi Airport Academy School. She shared she wants to study and gain knowledge to be able to make her future and care for others.
Our students range in age from 5 to 18, and their families have been pushed to their limits during the pandemic, often sacrificing basic needs. Having their education secured removes a huge burden from their daily concerns.
If you haven’t yet sponsored and would like to, or you are a sponsor and want to make an extra one-time commitment, please visit How You Can Help and donate today!
